Dog Licenses:
Dog Licenses are available through the Town Clerk and are due annually by April 1st.  After April 1st, an additional fee is charged.  Rabies shots must be kept up to date (every 36 months) and a certificate left with the Town Clerk.

Reminder, it is time to license your dogs for 2026! By Vermont law, dogs who are 6 months or older must be licensed in the town. A current rabies certificate and spay/neuter certificate need to be on file in the Town Clerk’s Office.
You may license your dog(s) in person at the Town Clerk’s Office during regular business hours, mail the information and fee in (Bethel Town Clerk, PO Box 404, Bethel VT 05032) or you drop your information and fee through the slot in the Town Manager’s Office door.
